A “Must” for all
carriage enthusiasts this 70 min DVD is an introduction to the LNERCA train,
showing its development over several years through to 2007. Apart from the
usual lineside shots
(including extended sequences of Sir
Nigel Gresley) each carriage is introduced with a
carriage diagram and some restoration and interior views. Some carriages still

This DVD covers restoration activities
over the last three years, the Gresley 100 events of
2005, and some of the first runs of our coaches during this time. Much of the dvd has been shot along the line with many clips taken in
the wilderness of Newtondale out of reach of most
people and shows runs of the LNERCA coaches as well as the coaches that visited
from the Severn Valley Railway and the Scottish Railway Preservation society
with a clip of a train of eight Gresley and Thompson
Vehicles together, something not likely to be repeated for some time. Filmed by member John Reddish, 60 minutes digital quality with

panels salvaged from carriages under restoration, a chance to own a hand made
